How We Became
Company History
Nova Forge Industries (NFIND)
Date Incorporated: Monday, June 15, 2950
Headquarters: Terra Prime → Terra → Terra
Nova Forge Industries was founded by Nazeris Nova Cadian, a man whose journey through hardship, redemption, and perseverance forged the values that still define the company today.
Born in 2925 in a modest district of New Austin, Nazeris grew up surrounded by adversity. His father, Roland, worked three jobs to support the family, while his mother, Adria, battled chronic illness yet devoted herself fully to raising their five children with unwavering strength and compassion.
Tragedy struck when Roland was killed in an industrial accident caused by a distracted MOLE pilot, leaving Adria to carry the burden of the family alone.
Even through hardship, the foundations of resilience, loyalty, and determination were forged within the Nova household — principles that would one day shape Nova Forge Industries itself.
How We Overcame
Starting Small
From an early age, Naz was captivated by the world of transport and logistics. He spent countless hours watching freighters arrive and depart from the local shipping hub, dreaming of one day helping people across the Empire receive the supplies and support they needed.
In his late teens, driven by desperation and the responsibility of helping his struggling family, Naz fell in with a group of smugglers. Though their work existed outside the law, they became the closest thing he had to a second family. It was among them that he learned the complexities of cargo operations, ship engineering, and logistics — especially aboard the rugged Drake Caterpillar.
Eventually, after a falling out with his brother and a life-changing return home, Naz made the decision to leave that life behind and pursue a better future.
That opportunity came when he discovered a Covalex hiring office and signed on as a junior engineer. Determined to rebuild both his reputation and his future, he committed himself fully to honest work.
Years of dedication and perseverance paid off. Naz eventually saved enough credits to purchase his own ship, and during the summer season of 2950, he acquired a Hull-C and officially established Nova Forge Industries — a company built on second chances, hard-earned values, and the belief that success means lifting others up alongside you.
Where We’re Headed
What We’ve Forged
From those humble beginnings with a single Hull-C, Nova Forge Industries has grown into a respected industrial force throughout Stanton and beyond.
What began as one captain with a dream has evolved into a fleet of mining, cargo, and salvage vessels crewed by dedicated professionals — all united by a shared commitment to integrity, kindness, reliability, and service.
In its earliest years, NFIND focused primarily on short-haul freight operations, delivering food, medical supplies, and critical resources to remote colonies in need. As profits grew, so did the company’s capabilities.
The acquisition of an Argo MOLE marked the company’s expansion into asteroid mining, followed later by entry into salvage operations with the purchase of a Drake Vulture. These strategic investments allowed NFIND to diversify its operations, adapt to shifting markets, and provide more comprehensive solutions to its partners and clients.
Today, Nova Forge Industries operates a highly organized fleet supported by an experienced leadership team, dependable logistics networks, and a growing roster of skilled pilots, engineers, and industrial specialists.
Our contracts now range from corporate supply operations to deep-space resource extraction, but our mission has never changed:
Help those around us thrive.
And while the scale of our work has evolved, the heart of the company remains unchanged. Nova Forge Industries still believes in second chances, fair dealing, and building a future worth forging — together.
Leadership Transition — 2955
In June of 2955, after guiding the organization through its foundational years, Nazeris Nova Cadian stepped down as Chief Executive Officer to pursue personal goals and new ventures.
Though no longer serving in an executive capacity, he remains part of the company as an employee and trusted advisor.
Before stepping down, Nazeris appointed Hoban Foray Washborne, formerly Chief Operations Officer, as his successor.
Hoban officially assumed the role of CEO on June 18, 2955, bringing renewed focus to outreach, recruitment, and modernization efforts aimed at preparing Nova Forge Industries for the evolving demands of the ‘Verse — while continuing to honor the values upon which the company was founded.
Our Foundation
Integrity. Reliability. Second Chances.
These principles are more than words — they are the forge upon which Nova Forge Industries was built, and the future we continue to build together.
