Company History
Date Incorporated: Monday, June 15, 2950
Headquarters: Terra Prime > Terra > Terra
Nova Forge Industries was founded by Nazeris Nova Cadian, a man whose journey through hardship and redemption forged the values that still shape the company today.
Born in 2925 in a less affluent part of New Austin, Nazeris grew up surrounded by adversity. His father, Roland, worked three jobs to support the family, and his mother, Adria, was chronically ill but devoted herself to raising their five children with what strength she had.
Tragedy struck when Roland was killed in an industrial accident involving a distracted MOLE pilot, leaving Adria to carry the burden alone.
From a young age, Naz was captivated by the world of transport—spending hours watching freighters come and go at the local hub, dreaming of helping people across the empire get what they needed.
In his late teens, driven by desperation and the need to support his family, he fell in with a group of smugglers. Though their methods weren’t legal, they treated him like family, and it was with them he learned the ins and outs of cargo operations and engineering, particularly aboard Drake Caterpillars.
Eventually, after a falling out with his brother and a life-changing visit back home, Naz decided to walk a straighter path. He happened upon a Covalex hiring office and jumped at the chance to sign on as a junior engineer. He left the smuggler life behind and began rebuilding his reputation and future.
Years of hard work and dedication with Covalex paid off. He saved enough credits to purchase his own ship, and in the summer season of 2950, he bought a Hull-C and officially established Nova Forge Industries —a company built on second chances, hard-earned values, and the drive to uplift others.
Leadership Transition – 2955
In June of 2955, after five years of leading the organization through its foundational phase, Nazeris Nova Cadian stepped down as CEO to pursue personal goals. While no longer in an executive role, he remains with the company as an employee and occasional advisor.
He named Hoban Foray Washborne —previously Chief Operations Officer —as his successor.
Hoban assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer on June 18, 2955, pledging renewed focus on outreach, recruitment, and evolving the organization’s practices to meet the changing demands of the ‘Verse—while honoring the values at Nova Forge’s core.
